Youll Construction is a family run business set up initially in 1987 by Michael Youll, Managing Director. Michael began his career with a Stockton based Civil Engineering company and quickly worked up the ranks to Foreman. Tarmac has always been his passion and in 1990 he left his job and started Youll Construction full time. In the early years the main focus consisted of small tarmac works, block paving, fencing and landscape gardening.
Over the last 30 years business has grown and the focus has changed and is predominantly surfacing. The company covers both private and commercial works. Both children play integral part of the day to day running of the business. Ben Youll is Foreman and Transport Manager whilst Aimee drives an HGV and machinery on site. The company prides itself on its reputation, training and its willingness and ability to move forward.
Youll Construction is a member of the relevant bodies including CHAS and Constructionline and has been ISO registered since 2011.
The company prides itself on its staff and fleet of wagons. All employees are supported via an Employee Assistance Scheme and vehicles and plant are regularly renewed and maintained to the highest standard.

We operate surfacing work throughout the North East and work for local authorities, major house builders, commercial companies and private individuals. Youll Construction can offer a wide variety of planning services. The recent addition of a 1 m planer allows large areas to be planed off quicker and more efficiently. For smaller planing jobs there is a 0.5m road planer and a number of Skid Steers with planer head and brush attachment. These machines are best suited to small planing jobs such as footpaths and patching work.
The company offers a limited white lining service but a full service can be arranged please contact for details.
The fleet of wagons and trailers including 2 artic units, hook loader and hot boxes gives the company the flexibility to transport plant, equipment and material, if necessary, around safe and efficiently. This ensures that the right plant and material is in the right place at the right time! The various wagons also allow materials including planning's and waste to be removed from site.
